Serving Hoggs Hollow to the Yonge Corridor

Junk Removal & Property Cleanouts in North York

North York is really two territories: ravine-lot estates along York Mills and Hoggs Hollow, and the dense condo corridor running up Yonge through Willowdale. Both fill up. Neither clears the same way.

Two North Yorks, one standard

Along the ravines — Hoggs Hollow, York Mills, the edges of the Bridle Path — sit some of the largest homes in the city, where a cleanout means multi-room scale, long driveways, and an unspoken expectation of discretion. Up the Yonge corridor through Willowdale, Sheppard and Finch, it's dense condo living and multigenerational households where space runs out faster than family life slows down. Same crew, same protocol, very different logistics.

Estate-scale work at an estate-level pace

For the ravine-lot homes, the full protocol comes out: floor and wall protection through wide halls and finished basements, room-by-room sorting with valuables set aside, and crews who treat a downsizing as careful work rather than a hauling event. The handover is calm, photographable, and ready for whoever comes next.

When the basement stops being a basement

Willowdale's larger households live hard in their homes, and basements, garages and spare rooms absorb the overflow until they're unusable. Clearing the backlog in a single visit — sorted donation-first — is how that space comes back. We also clear ahead of second-suite renovations, then return for the construction debris when your contractor finishes.

The Yonge condo corridor

From Sheppard to Finch, unit turnovers run on building rules. We arrive with certificates of insurance, book the elevator, work inside the window, and leave the unit swept and showable.

Good Questions

North York Disposal & Pricing Questions

Does the City pick up large furniture and appliances?

Yes. The City of Toronto collects oversized items such as appliances, furniture and carpets on your regular garbage collection day, set out 0.5 metres (2 feet) from your bins and at the curb by 7:00 a.m. Bulky furniture like couches and mattresses does not need to be dismantled, but you must remove the doors from fridges, ovens and similar appliances first. Verified against the City of Toronto Oversized & Metal Items page, July 2026.

What won't the City take from the curb?

Construction and renovation waste — drywall, wood, and similar debris — is not collected at the curb, and neither is household hazardous waste such as paint tins and fluorescent tubes. Those must go to a City Drop-Off Depot. This is the single most common reason a Toronto renovation cleanout stalls, and it is exactly the sort of load we handle in one visit instead. Verified against the City of Toronto Oversized & Metal Items page, July 2026.

What about carpet?

Carpet must be tied in rolls no heavier than 20 kilograms (44 pounds) and no longer than 1.2 metres (4 feet). If you're clearing a whole home's worth of broadloom, that is a lot of cutting and tying — we take it as-is. Verified against the City of Toronto Oversized & Metal Items page, July 2026.

What does a cleanout cost in North York?

Garage cleanouts start from $495, our mid-level finish from $795, and full-property or estate work from $1,195. Your exact price depends on volume, weight, access and the finish level you choose, and it is fixed at a free on-site valuation before a single item moves. We don't quote blind over the phone — we'd have to pad the number to protect ourselves, and you'd be paying for our guesswork.
